What to do.....

I have a new cat - 12 yr old Cookie. She i s well settled, no problems with food etc.etc. but - she has always been put out at night and I would really rather she stayed it....so far no luck. As soon as the lights are out, I am in bed she wants to go out. Any suggestions as to how to keep her in or is it OK to let her stay out. I have made her a secure, warm sleeping place on the porch so she is OK out there and when I call her in every morning she just comes out of the bed.......

Hey again

ummm....well I did have 11 but I'd just saved a wee sickly 5 week old kitten who is now a little fiesty tiger so now it's 12!!!!

It is obvious that she's been an outside cat all of her 12 years.....

and she rather prefer to stay outside. If there is a particular place where she alway goes to sleep then that's where she'll be. I'd would rather have all my cats sleep with me on my bed but most of them sleep outside anyway.
