If it was one of my cats it would definitely be the string - they are too self-centred to think of anyone else. The dogs would have done it to be helpful though. Does anyone else have cats that only think of themselves. They always wait until I sit down to eat dinner to want to go outside and then when they are outside they want to come back in again.

I don't want him to make a habit of it because he might damage the glasses, but I was surprised by it at the time. Who knows if he was really bringing them to me because he thought I needed them or they just like picking up things with string on them. I think string, if thick enough, resembles mouse tails and so appeals to them.
