I've noticed this too. I suppose it's whatever booty pays for the jackpots that creates the value, and they've changed what they're asking for. Eigth mermaids like the other day seems a heck of a lot of mermaids at the rate I find them. Maybe it's like playing cards and they have a certain amount or proportion out there and get them back in. If that is the basis maybe someone was hoarding hooks and that pushed the price up. It's all speculation, we'll never know.
