six dogs say

My six dogs won't eat the last two logs of Butch ,has there been a change in the ingredients? When six dogs won't eat it , it can't be called dog food.

Variety

I've got one dog who likes to have variety in her food. Her first owner let her clean up the scraps from the baby etc and she does now like a lot of variety. When she is refusing to eat (sometimes for 2 days in a row) I microwave some mince and pour the juice over the roll and biscuits. This morning I had some Nutrigrain crumbs and put them on her log. She gobbled it up.
My other dog doesn't hesitate to eat and will always eat her food very quickly ...so she can steal the left overs!

Try varying the flavours/rolls

Butch make several variants of rolls and as others have said, your dogs may just like a change. Butch offer Hound Log, a Blue, White and Black label and the Meat'n'veg and Chicken'n'veg, I believe their called, so maybe just try a different roll for a while and se if your dogs just want something different for a while. If you want to know if Butch did change their recipe, although it is unlikely, ask in an email sent through your account page; I reckon they will respond to you when they are able and maybe even offer you some advice.

maybe the rolls were old from where you purchased from, they were at the bottom of the newer rolls. They smell a bit when are getting old.

change is no good

contact Butch about it. i wouldn't change the diet, it would probably give them the sh**s and dry food is complete rubbish. my dogs go off their food from time to time, it wasn't the food because they ate it later on.

change is good

I have four dogs an they sometimes do the same thing! I find changing their diet helps, just like humans we dont eat the same food day in day out!
try a little raw beef or some nibble bikkies!
